13th Annual Midwest Security and Police Conference Expo gears up for Tinley Park IL
The Midwest Security and Police Conference/Expo is just around the corner and numerous police departments across the nation will be present as vendors showcase the newest and latest products for security and law enforcement professionals.
The two-day marketplace event will feature state-of the-art products, services and technologies used by police officers and security officials. The event is set for the Tinley Park Convention Center, in Tinley Park, Illinois, and will run from Aug. 19 to Aug. 20.
Some of the devices that will be on display include Access Control Systems, Human Body Scanners, Automatic Fire Detectors and Alarm Systems, Metal Detectors, Bullet-Proof Vehicles and other new technologies that could aid or assist police and security officials.
The 13th annual MSPCE will host an education and training program with experts from local, state and national agencies. The event will also have seminars with professionals in security and law enforcement. Of the presentations taking place at the conference, those prepared by the Illinois Terrorism Taskforce, Homeland Security, Social Media experts and Cyber-crime specialists should be especially interesting. Criminal doctors and psychologists, police technology investment advisors and state and local enforcement professionals will also be present.
The exhibition will showcase the newest technology for police departments with special-purpose vehicles by three major automotive companies. Additionally, the exhibition will have new technology systems on display such as fingerprint systems, personal protection products, tactical video equipment, perimeter security systems, emergency lighting devices and identification systems. Different communication networks and public sector software solutions will be showcased by different companies such as NC4 and its policing software system NC4 Street Smart.
As for the conference tracks, this year's topics will include: Officer Health and Wellness, Private Security and Law Enforcement Technology.
Admission to the conference program and the expo are offered free to public and private law enforcement, public safety and private security officials.
