The LEIM conference is created to open communication between other agencies about innovative technology used to better handle public safety issues and improve officer performance in the field. Several police departments are turning to new technology to help boost all-around operational efficiency and effectiveness, Police Chief Magazine reported.

Police departments are looking to new file-sharing technology to situational awareness in the field. Having the ability to keep officers consistently up to date with bulletin board and "be-on-the-look-out" information is helping solve crimes faster and more efficiently.

The exposition will allow police agencies to share information, best practices and lessons learned with state-of-the-art law enforcement information management, the source reported. Agencies will be able to see what devices are helping improve officer communication, interoperability and analysis.

Officers often use the conference for networking opportunities with different law enforcement agencies as well as industry-leading technology solution providers. The conference also serves as a gateway of exposure for law enforcement agencies to new technology and how it is improving other police departments.

Improving operations is always on the mind of police chiefs, and with the right crime control technology, agencies are able to better ensure public safety.

The LEIM conference will be held at the Westin Peachtree Plaza Hotel and AmericasMart Conference Center in Atlanta with numerous workshops and seminars available to law enforcement professionals.

NC4 will be hosting demonstrations for its newest crime fighting technology - NC4 Street Smart. Officers and law enforcement agents can reach the NC4 team at booth number 417 throughout the exhibition.
